Clearly if instead of trying to convert the Aliens to Catholicism the people of Earth realized the Aliens are clearly Buddhist then maybe we could learn from them. I mean it should be obvious as they have no hair :) Oh well just a thought spawned by this picture i found haha.
Each time the losses and deceptions of life teach us about impermanence, they bring us closer to the truth. When you fall from a great height, there is only one possible place to land: on the ground—the ground of truth. And if you have the understanding that comes from spiritual practice, then falling is in no way a disaster, but the discovery of an inner refuge.~SOYGAL RINPOCHE
On life’s journey faith is nourishment, Virtuous deeds are a shelter, Wisdom is the light by day and right mindfulness is the protection by night. If a man lives a pure life nothing can destroy him; if he has conquered greed nothing can limit his freedom - Buddha
In the attitude of silence, the soul finds the path in an clearer light, and what is elusive and deceptive resolves itself into crystal clearness. Our life is a long and arduous quest after Truth.

The objects we spontaneously name, in general, have existence beyond our personal perception of them. Therefore, outer objects do not disappear simply because we have ceased to connect with it, but remain in a natural state, uncontaminated by our projections. Inner objects can remain as potentials without manifesting or could completely disappear, because they required our perception to hold them. Examples of the first are cups, the second are familiar states of mind and an example of the last would be momentary anger. Domo Geshe Rinpoche

Cloaked in secrecy for over 400 years, the State Oracle of Tibet has been a strange and mystical aspect of the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. This ancient spirit, which has inhabited a succession of thirteen human mediums, advises the Dalai Lama on matters of public and religious policy. To witness the eerie spectacle of a medium entering a trance state and being possessed by the Oracle is to confront profound questions about the very nature of human consciousness.
With permission from the Dalai Lama that had never been granted before, The Oracle explores the ancient practice of consulting spirits.
Anticipation & Spiritual Insight
I feel a excitement within me, an anticipation deep and strong, closing my eyes in a quiet place i see places and images of various deities, now let me clarify, i close my eyes and i see darkness but then within that void i see shapes of people i do not know, i wonder if i am seeing deities or am i seeing peoples silhouette from my passed life. I see sometimes objects like ritual meditation tools such as a dorje or a phurba and even a wheel though i have no idea why. This extends to dream time as well, I have dreamed of times spent in a monastery though i couldn’t tell you where the place actually is and or if it even exists. I have felt a energy upon me while in meditation or while reading or watching a teaching that i know is not my own. I am not anyone special or do i even claim to know anything at all, I am only sharing that i have felt a increase in my awareness over last couple of months most certainly since expanding my chanting of 21 Tara’s and Medicine Buddha. I strongly believe in compassion for others and feel inadequate in my abilities to actually live a life for the benefit of all sentient beings, all i can do is try to always be mindful of others feelings and their beauty they have and are in themselves.

My one dream is to not be the one in the spotlight but to live my life simply dedicated to the Buddha and view each person i meet as the great Buddha, for they are all Buddha’s even though they may not realize it.
